One doctor. One office. Done.

Dental implants placed and restored by Dr. Rus — no referrals, no bouncing between specialists. Sleep through the whole thing.

What makes this different.

At most dental offices, getting an implant means seeing at least two doctors. A surgeon places the implant. Then you wait. Then you go to another office for the crown. Two offices, two treatment plans, two different people responsible for the result.

Dr. Rus does both. He places every implant and builds every restoration himself. One doctor plans the case, does the surgery, and finishes the tooth. Nobody gets referred out. Nobody falls through the cracks. The person who places your implant is the same person who makes sure it looks right when it’s done.

And if you don’t want to be aware for any of it, IV sedation means you won’t be. You walk in, fall asleep, and wake up with the work done.

What we do.

Single-tooth implants

Replace one missing tooth with a permanent implant and crown that looks and functions like a natural tooth. No bridges, no removable partials.

Implant bridges

Missing multiple teeth in a row? Implant-supported bridges replace several teeth without touching the healthy ones next to them.

Full-arch implants

Replace an entire arch of teeth with 4–6 implants supporting a permanent, fixed set of teeth. No more dentures. No adhesives.

Implant-supported dentures

Snap-in dentures that lock onto implants for stability. They stay put when you eat, talk, and laugh — and come out for easy cleaning.

Dr. Rus’s credentials.

Dr. Ruslan Maidans is a Fellow of the International Dental Implant Association (FDIA) and a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). He’s Dawson Academy trained for comprehensive treatment of complex dental cases and IV sedation certified.

He places and restores implants — something most general dentists don’t do. When other dentists have a patient who needs implants under sedation, they send them here.

He’s been serving the Groton area since 2016 and has placed hundreds of implants. Every case is planned digitally, placed precisely, and restored in-house.

Common questions.

Does the same doctor place and restore the implant?

Yes. Dr. Rus does both. He places the implant surgically and builds the final crown, bridge, or denture that goes on top. You deal with one doctor from start to finish — no referrals to an oral surgeon, no coordinating between offices.

Will I be awake during the procedure?

Only if you want to be. Most patients choose IV sedation, which means you won’t be aware of the procedure at all. You drift off, Dr. Rus does the work, and you wake up when it’s done.

How long do dental implants last?

With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The implant itself is titanium and fuses permanently with your jawbone. The crown or restoration on top typically lasts 15–25 years before it may need replacement.

Am I a candidate for implants?

Most adults are. During your free consultation, Dr. Rus evaluates your bone density, overall health, and treatment goals. If implants aren’t the right option, he’ll tell you directly and recommend alternatives.

What if I need a lot of implants?

That’s exactly what IV sedation is for. Whether you need one implant or a full arch, Dr. Rus can complete the work in fewer visits because you’re sedated and he can work uninterrupted. Some patients get an entire mouth of implants in a single session.

How much do dental implants cost?

Cost depends on how many implants you need and what type of restoration goes on top. We discuss pricing transparently during your free consultation — no surprises. We also accept HSA/FSA and offer financing options.

What about the healing period?

After implant placement, there’s typically a 3–6 month healing period while the implant integrates with your bone. During that time, you’ll have temporary teeth so you’re never without a smile. Once healed, Dr. Rus places your permanent restoration.
